Deutsch-Amerikanisches Klarinettentrio is an international clarinet trio and chamber ensemble. Clarinetists Jeffrey Boehmer, Mark Gallagher, and Hendrik Wüster have performed extensively with orchestras, wind bands, and chamber ensembles throughout the United States and Europe. Their varied repertoire consists of music from several stylistic periods including works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Francis Poulenc, Jacques Bouffil, Javier Zalba, and Austrian clarinetist and composer Alfred Prinz. The group will have its United States debut performance on May 8, 2020 at the The Lyceum: Alexandria's History Museum in Alexandria, Virginia and a future tour in Northern Europe and Scandinavia in 2021.

Jeffrey Boehmer is a native of Frederick, MD. After graduating from West Virginia University, he spent 10 years in the US Air Force Heritage of America Band. During his time in the Air Force, he was a member of the Concert Band and the Langley Winds Woodwind Quintet, performing concerts and masterclasses throughout the entire United States and as far away as Siberia, Russia. His most memorable performances with the Air Force Band were his concert tours in Europe and Russia, marching in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and performing in both inaugural ceremonies for President Barrack Obama.
Now living in Mercersburg, PA, he spends an active year performing and teaching in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. Jeffrey spent two summers as a Fellowship Member of the Imani Winds Chamber Music Festival at Juilliard and has also performed with the Richmond Symphony, Allentown Symphony, Liberty Wind Symphony, and the Two Rivers Chamber Orchestra. He is currently a faculty artist and the Operations Manager for the Maryland Chamber Winds, a non-profit ensemble founded in 2015 in western Maryland, which brings high level chamber music performances, educational opportunities, and commissioning projects to the area throughout the year.
Aside from his musical endeavors, Jeffrey spends most of his time running long distances, hiking, skiing, and seeing the sights around the country with his husband, Adam, and their daughter, Rebecca.

Mark Gallagher is a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music where he received a Bachelor of Music degree in clarinet performance and studied with Lawrence McDonald. He also holds a Masters of Music in Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music having studied with D. Stanley Hasty and a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Other major teachers included Robert Marcellus and Alfred Zezter, both of the Cleveland Orchestra and Dr. Linda Bartley who is the clarinet professor at University of Wisconsin. Dr. Gallagher has performed with the Washington Contemporary Music Forum, Musique Vivante de Paris, United States Navy Band, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra, Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, Washington Opera, Cincinnati Ballet Orchestra, Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, Bronx Symphony, New York City Ballet Orchestra, and the Skylight Opera Theatre Orchestra.
He made his New York recital debut performing with violinist Sylvia Rosenberg at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall, and is also a winner of the Artist International Competition in New York City, being award a solo recital in Weill Hall. An active chamber musician and co-founder of I Venti Semplice, Dr. Gallagher has performed throughout the United States and Europe, including a recent concert tour of the Netherlands and a live national radio broadcast from the Concertgebouw. Other performances include appearances in Washington, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Ann Arbor, Portland (OR), Wisconsin Public Radio, as well as concert tours of France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Scandinavia, Scotland, and China. Dr. Gallagher has recorded with the Albany Records label and can be heard on the Eastman “American Music” Series and The United States Navy Band.

Hendrik Wüster is from the southern German city of Freiburg im Breisgau. In addition to his studies on clarinet he earned a degree in pharmaceutical studies from the Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg, Germany. As a soloist and chamber musician, Hendrik has won several music awards throughout Germany. They include solo clarinet prizes in Hamburg, Baden-Württemberg, and Ulm. He has been award chamber prizes for wind dectet in Schwäbisch Gmünd and for clarinet quartet in Neubrandenburg.
He has performed with several large ensembles throughout Southern Germany, including the Landesblasorchester in Baden-Württenberg, the Camerata Academica Orchestra of Freiburg, the Freiburg Student Symphony Orchestra, the National Youth Windband of Baden-Württenberg and Rheinland-Pfalz, and the Feirburger Blasorchester of Freiburg.
In 2018 Hendrik and Mark collaborated in a duo clarinet performance at the Friedenskirche in Freiburg, Germany.
